1. Create a champagne glass by revolving a 2D shape.
2. Fill your glass with a sparkling beverage of choice using Boolean Split and a box. Optional: use Offset Surface tool to shrink the liquid object slightly to avoid coincident surfaces with the glass, (which may cause rendering anomalies when using transparent glass materials).
3. Add bubbles to your juice using Volume Scatter and a single Sphere object.
4. Scatter confetti on the ground by creating a variety of 2D shapes and colors. Use the Polygon tool with the Pattern option for star shapes. Create a 2D circle ground plane. Use Surface Scatter to randomly scatter the 2D confetti shapes around the ground. Set random Rotation and Scale Range values to scatter a variety of sizes from the same base shapes.
5. Add confetti falling from the sky by creating a temporary cylinder object, then use Volume Scatter to randomly scatter the 2D confetti shapes around the cylinder volume. Set random Rotation and Scale Range values for variety.
6. Add Glass-Accurate materials for the glass and juice. Add Background material for the ground plane, (see Tip Here). Turn the Cast Shadow Attribute OFF for all the objects to avoid unnecessary shadows from the confetti and brighter glass objects. Then render in RenderZone. Happy New Year!
