Create tangent walls with Tangent Loft tool

  • Updated
  • Select Tangent Loft tool.
  • Click on two edges and observe a straight lofted surface between edges with no tangency.
  • In Tool Options palette select Tangent At Start and observe lofted surface is now tangent to first edge.
  • Increase tangency by setting Tangent Magnitude value > 1 and decrease with values < 1.
  • Click Switch Tangent Face button to change which face along the edge the loft will be tangent to.
  • The Tangent At End parameters adjust tangency for the second edge you selected.
  • Use Thicken tool on lofted surface to match thickness of existing walls.
