Each object can have their own Cross Section Attributes

Select object with Pick tool.
In Tool Options palette select Attributes tab then select Cross Section from pull-down menu.
Set Section Color, Line Color, Line Weight, and Hatch parameters as desired.
Create a Clipping Plane in the Clipping Planes palette and observe automatic dynamic cross section hatching and other cross section details. Note, the object’s cross section attributes are used in Layout also.
