- Create 2D shapes that define the inner and outer boundary.
- Use Project Curve tool to project both shapes onto your object.
- Use Imprint Curve tool to insert both shapes into your object.
- Delete the transition face between the inner and outer boundary.
- Move inner surface inward or outward to desired depth of embossing.
- Copy inner surface to clipboard, Cmd+C (Mac) or Ctrl+C (Win).
- Select Tangent Loft tool and click on inner and outer boundary edges, then in Tool Options select Tangent At Start and Tangent At End option.
- Observe the inner surface is ghosted so Paste the inner surface back into scene, Cmd+V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Win).
- Use Stitch tool to stitch the three surfaces together.
