Emulate soffit lighting using Line Lights – Knowledge Base

Create a Vector Line.
Select Line Light tool then click on vector line.
Note, Light tools are found in Rendering and Animation Workspace.
In Tool Options set:
Shadows: Off, (turning shadows On will dramatically increase rendering time).
Falloff: Linear Clamped.
Radius: 3”, (set radius small enough so light affects only objects near the line).
Intensity: 4000%, (Intensity is divided across the line so higher values are required for longer lines).
