Add temporary guides while drawing
- Temporary guides allow you to align your drawing to other objects in the scene without interrupting the drawing operation.
- Select Vector Line tool and click on corner point of existing object. Observe automatic XY guides at this location.
- Move cursor and snap to corner point of another object,(but don’t click), and hit Shift + Spacebar. Observe temporary XYZ guides at this location.
- Click on intersection where the automatic and temporary guides intersect for your next vector line point.
- Continue drawing and add additional temporary guides whenever needed.
- To delete a temporary guide while drawing move cursor over the guide and hit Shift + Space.
- To delete all temporary guides while drawing hit Shift + Cmd (Mac) + Space or Shift + Ctrl (Win) +Space.
