This error is caused because form•Z is unable to properly utilize a machine's OpenGL drivers, usually because they are outdated. This issue can be common on new machines that have not had their drivers updated yet. These drivers are generally found on the website of the graphic card manufacturer (NVidia, AMD, etc).
Machines will commonly have Intel integrated graphics as well. The Intel driver updates are sometimes performed with basic Windows updates. To check the Intel drivers, go to the Start menu and type 'Intel.' It should come up with the 'Intel Graphics Command/Control Center.' From there, go to the Support tab and choose Download Graphics Driver. This will take you to an Intel webpage where you can download an installation wizard. That wizard will help set you up with any missing Intel drivers.
Certain screen-sharing applications can disable the Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling option in the OS settings. To check this, go to the Windows Settings, then System, Display. Scroll down on the right, and click on Graphics for Windows 11 or Graphic settings for Windows 10 (Windows 11 users then need to next click on Change default graphics settings). Now toggle the Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling option to 'on.'
